Halloween is just around the corner (gasp!) and what better way to kick it off with a fun layout. I just ordered the new Teresa Collins Haunted Hallows collection and knew I HAD to use it right away. Traditional Halloween colors in super fun designs with a TC flair, I loved working with this paper and this project came together so easily. Note to self - USE PAPER YOU LOVE TO CREATE!
Also wanted to use a lot of the supplies that I had not gotten the opportunity to play with yet. I busted out some Tim Holtz Dies and Sizzlits along with a super fun My Favorite Things banner trio die and it was ON! Also, paired these with black glitter paper and voila!
I wanted to create a "scene" with the Rickety House die and Branch Tree die so I used some 1.25 inch black roses to create a bush area. Also, wanted to use some orange 0.75 inch flowers and black 0.25 inch to highlight one of the rosettes I created with the Tim Holtz Paper Rosette die.
Here are the links to the flowers I used in this project:
0.25 Inch Roses (black used in project)

0.75 Inch Roses (Mixed Random Orange and Tangerine Tone used in project)

1.25 Inch Roses (black used in project)

Here's some close ups of my project - I'm so thrilled at how this came out, I've only done a handful of 12x12 layouts and this one just came together for me - I will keep practicing, its just such a big "canvas" to work on, but so worth it in the end.

ReplyDeleteFabulosity! LOL. That's what I'm talkin' 'bout!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how awesome the house and tree cut from the "packaging" looks! It works perfectly!! The black roses are so cool, the rosettes are fab and the yellow roses add just a touch of brightness that helps bring out the other warm colors! TFS!!!
